TUESDAY

  • DAY 1 - IGH DAYS KICK OFF EVENT

    County Commissioner Joe Atkins is marking 35 years of public service by teaming up with the Moose Lodge and Hometown Meats to host a kickoff event for IGH Days. Join us for complimentary beverages and hot dogs. Everyone is welcome! Admission is free with an IGH Days button or a food donation for Neighbors, Inc.

WEDNESDAY

  • IGH DAYS FOOD FEST

    Stop by the Veterans Memorial Community Center for IGH Days Food Fest! Wednesday, September 4 from 4-7pm. Enjoy food and treats from a variety of food trucks available for purchase. A few picnic tables will be set up, but we encourage you to bring a blanket or chair to sit on. Here are some of the vendors: Angelita's Tacos, BD Sammies, D&D Goodies Food Truck, Mr. Egg Roll, Peppers & Fries, LLC, Pharaoh's Gyros, Pretty Great Cake Shakes and Unbakeable.

THURSDAY

  • DAY 2 - Coffee & Conversations

    Join IGH Police Chief Melissa Chiodo, Dakota County Sheriff Joe Leko, Dakota County Attorney Kathy Keena, and Dakota County Commissioner Joe Atkins for casual conversation, a cup of coffee, and Q & A. 8:30am at Inver Glen Library (80th & Blaine)

  • Hometown Heros Cookout

    Everyone is welcome to join us for a free burger or hot dog as we gather to honor our local first responders, frontline workers, educators, and medical personnel. New this year is a helicopter landing. Join us from 4-6:30 at Simley High School parking lot.

  • Trivia

    Regular trivia + local trivia, prizes awarded throughout the evening. Free with IGH Days Button. 7pm at the Moose Lodge.

  • Classic Cruise Night

    Stop by A&W for a Classic Car Show and good conversation.

    Join the fun at family fun night at Oakwood Park for a carnival with giant inflatables, carnival games, & more! There will be hot dogs, pizza, and beverages available for purchase. Tickets will be for sale at the event. Button Requested to support IGH Days.

  • Party at the Brewery

    Join Inver Grove Brewing from 5-8 for live music, corn hole, food and beverages on the patio!

  • Inver Glow Heights Walk

    Experience Inver Glow Heights walk at Oakwood park from 8:30 to 9:30pm. A button is required and it is suggested to pre-register for t-shirts and glow packs.

  • Friday Night Live Music

    Billee Jo Hall acoustic duo will be performing at The Moose Lodge from 7:00-10:00pm. Free with an IGH Days button or a $5 cover.

  • Friday Night DJ

    Join the fun at Jersey's with a DJ playing all your favorites from 9:30pm to close. IGH Days button is recommended.

SATURDAY

  • BINGO Tent

    Come join for a few games of BINGO. A button is required to play. The tent is located in the Village Square parking lot. BINGO times: Friday 5:30-8:30pm Saturday 1:00 - 7:30pm Sunday 12-3pm

  • Volleyball Tournament

    Register at email dracsvolleyball@gmail.com Limited entries. Button Required

  • CO-ED Pickle Ball Tournament

    Pick a partner and join us at North Valley Park (70th Street) for a fun tournament! Teams must register as pairs. All participants will receive a tournament T-shirt, and registered teams will be notified of further details. Balls will be provided for the games. Please note that the tournament will be canceled in the event of inclement weather, and no refunds will be given. The tournament features Intermediate-1 and Intermediate-2 divisions (all co-ed doubles). There will be two separate groups, each with up to 8 teams. Matches are best of three games, with each match lasting 30-45 minutes. Rounds and timing will be determined based on the number of teams. The entry fee is $35 per team of two.

  • Bean Bag Tournament

    Join Mississippi Pub for the IGH Days Bean Bag Tournament! Check-in is from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM, with the tournament starting at 3:00 PM. The entry fee is $40 per team, with a maximum of 32 teams allowed. Participants must be 21 or older. The tournament will feature pool play to qualify for the single elimination rounds, including upper and lower blind draw brackets. Championship matches will be best of 3. Limited entries are available, and a button is required to participate.

  • Grand Day Parade

    The Grand Day Parade begins at 11am on 80th Street and follows Cahill Avenue heading north to Buckley Way. Volunteers will collect non perishable food donations along the parade route for Neighbors Inc.

  • Wrestling Tournament at Drac's

    Wrestling is back! Pro Wrestling Mania will have 5 Big Matches at Drkula's starting at 2 pm!

  • Disc Golf Tournament

    Join us for a fun disc golf tournament at North Valley Park (70th Street)! Check-in begins at 1:30 PM, with the tournament starting at 2:00 PM. Grab your family and friends, and register as a team of two on the day of the event. The tournament features age divisions for 13-17, and adults in Recreational/Novice and Advanced categories. Awards will be presented for 1st and 2nd place in each division. The entry fee is $10 per team.

  • Live Music

    Catch Cathy 'n Abel at Inver Glen Library from 2:00 to 3:00 PM for an engaging musical experience. This talented husband-and-wife duo will perform an eclectic mix of familiar and original songs in both English and Spanish. Their versatile harmonies promise to delight and uplift your spirit. This event is for adults.

  • Bike the Bridges

    At 3:00 PM, head to Swing Bridge Park for a free family bike ride event, "Bike the Bridges." The route will take you from Swing Bridge Park to Wakota Bridge and back, covering approximately five miles. Bike King will be on hand to provide bike repairs, while the Fire Department will offer first aid along the route, and IGH Police will be available for assistance. Participants will receive a free gift, beverage, and snack. Additionally, this event will serve as a drop-off location for the IGH Days Food Drive.

  • IGH Royalty Coronation

    The IGH Royalty Coronation will take place at 4:30 PM, with seating starting at 4:00 PM. Join us at Simley Performing Arts Center (2920 80th Street) for the recognition of the 2023 Royalty and the crowning of the 2024 Inver Grove Heights Royalty.

  • Street Dance Party

    Get ready for a Street Dance Party at the river with a DJ spinning all your favorite tunes from 8 PM to 12 AM! Join us for a night of dancing and fun at Mississippi Pub. A button is recommended for entry.

  • Fireworks

    Fireworks display is launched from Simley Island Park starting at 8:30pm (80th & Cahill)

  • Live Music

    Live Music at Jersey's from 9pm - 1am. Check out Country/80s Hair Band Steele Prairie at Jersey's! Button Recommended.

  • Farmers Market

    Explore the Saint Paul Farmers Market from 8 AM to 1 PM for a variety of fresh, locally grown produce including fruits, vegetables, seasonings, salsa, honey, flowers, and more. The market will be held in the VMCC Parking Lot at 80th and Barbara. Don't forget, this location also serves as a drop-off point for the IGH Days Food Drive!

  • BINGO Tent

  • Explore Inver Grove Heights

    Explore Inver Grove Heights from 11 AM to 3 PM on Cahill Avenue between 65th and 70th Streets for a variety of exciting events! Discover local businesses, community groups, and new vehicles at the Business Expo. Don’t miss the 30th Annual Classic Car Show, where the first 150 cars receive dash plaques and same-day registration is available. Bring your pet to the Pet Contest at Bremer Bank at 12 PM for categories like Best Trick and Best Costume—free with an IGH Days button. Kids can enjoy face painting, giant games, and inflatables at the Kids Court, while the Public Safety Display offers demonstrations including a K9 unit, live fire prop, and car extrication. The day wraps up with a Button Drawing at 3 PM in the bingo tent; winners will be posted online at www.invergroveheightsdays.org

They shine with their delicious breakfast menu and mouthwatering burgers and shakes.

  • DAY 3 - Shopping

    We recommend saving your last day for a delightful shopping spree where you can bring home some plants or flowers! A must-visit spot in Inver Grove Heights is Gertens, renowned as Minnesota's Destination Garden Center, offering the largest variety of annuals, perennials, houseplants, tree shrubs, and evergreens.   • DAY 1 -MORNING
    Check-In

    Settle into your accommodations, grab a cup of complimentary coffee get ready for a fun day on the trails! Check out the main lobby brochure rack for the Inver Grove Heights visitor guide or any additional things you might want to try while in the area.

  • DAY 1 - AFTERNOON
    Lunch & Biking Adventure

    Before hitting the trails, stop at Mississippi Pub for lunch. It is the perfect spot for great food, a spectacular view of the Mississippi River, and a minute's drive to the Rock Island Swing Bridge. The bridge is a historic landmark that allows you to walk out on the pier and stand above the Mississippi. The Rock Island Swing Bridge is also a trailhead to the Mississippi River Greenway Trail that allows you to bike to St. Paul. Once the trail is complete, riders can cycle from Hastings all the way to St. Paul, spanning 27 miles.

  • DAY 1 - EVENING
    Rest, Dinner & Mini Golf

    After a fun afternoon of biking, head back to the hotel for some rest. Then, choose a place for dinner depending on what you're craving.     Located in South Saint Paul, the Commemorative Air Force Museum is known for being Minnesota's premier WWII museum. See rare airplanes, artifacts, and learn new things in a fun way. Living History Flight Experiences can be purchased in our gift shop for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to actually fly in one of our rare airplanes.

  • DAY 2 - AFTERNOON
    Como Zoo & Conservatory

    This family-friendly FREE attraction is always a great stop. Take a stroll throughout the zoo and see tigers, wolves, monkeys, polar bears, and more. In addition to the animals, check out the beautiful Japanese garden, Marjorie Conservatory, and make a stop at Como Town for the carousel.

    Twin City Model Railroad Museum

    All Aboard!!! If you love trains, the Twin City Model Railroad Museum should be on your bucket list for your spring break trip. It is a great museum for families with interactive displays and a 30’ x 50’ world-class O-scale model train layout of the Twin City area.

If you’re in the mood for lunch fare, try the half-pound Angus burger with fries and a malt.

    Nerdin Out & A Sweet Treat

    Nerdin Out in Inver Grove Heights is a fun shop with action figures, vintage-new comics, collectibles, toys, and video games. It is a great shopping stop to find a unique souvenir from your spring break adventures. A spring break trip isn't complete without grabbing a sweet treat. Stop at E&S Sweet Treats for their delicious boba, and next door is La Dulceria Piñatas y Mas. They are a candy shop that offers traditional candies and Korean treats.

    Lunch & Head Home

    Don Papi Chula started as a food truck, and after opening their restaurant under a year ago, they became a popular taco shop in Inver Grove Heights. Their tacos and mangonada will surely make you want to come back to Inver Grove Heights!

    Wednesdays are the perfect day to visit Drkual’s 32 Bowl! Come in a little before 6:30 to grab a spot and a card for bingo. If you're not in the mood, no worries; they have pool, darts, and 32 lanes for bowling.

    Just 15 minutes outside of Inver Grove Heights is Mall of America! If you haven’t had the opportunity to go to MOA, it is one of the coolest places to visit in Minnesota. With over 500 stores for shopping, dining, attractions, and a theme park, it will surely lead to a day of fun.
